State of the Company Address IV

After quite some time you see the familiar sight of the Company Logo appear on you communications board.
The next image is of Damij Maximus transmitting from some unknown location. After a few seconds he begins to speak...
Good day team. First I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to receive this transmission. I know that you all are very busy. However, I feel that it is important for us to reconnect at this time seeing as we haven't had any group communication for some time now. I would also like to do something different with this one. Due to the importance of the following information I would like you to reply to this information at the end of the meeting. This will be a type of roll call for this gathering of Hounds. So without further ado, I'll jump right into it....
We have been reduced to the following pilots:

This has prompted me to make a key decision in our pursuit of incorporating and in my recruiting process. I am going to begin recruiting again (INTENSIVE recruiting) however I am no longer offering "founding member" status. You are my founding members. You all are the ones that always remain with me and put your time in when others come and go. You are the ones that make the long hypers no matter the destination, no matter the cargo. This company lives and dies with this core group. Everyone else from this point on are additions to OUR company and to our efforts. You have my respect and for that I thank you. Next, the company related issues....
1. MIA - I would like to extend my concerns regarding our team mate Tsuchiwan "Chubs" Chuba. He has recently fallen off the grid without any rhyme or reason. Not even a word. Now I have found that most leaders in the Combine take this as an opportunity to "lay down the law" but as you have seen by my recent absence I understand that things happen (in character and out of character). There will be no penalty for his absence nor would there be any towards any of you if it were any of you in the same situation. The only reason I bring this up is because I believe in the power of spirit and positive energy. I'm not getting religious on you guys...I'll leave that to Allisma or the Jedi order, lol. But what I'm getting at is the evidence of good energy and bad energy. We feel it for example when we get around that sentient that complains ALL THE TIME. Just 5 minutes in their company and it starts to affect your whole mood, right? So all I ask is that we send some good thoughts in Chubs' direction and hope for his safe return. But I'm sure everything is fine.
2. PAUSE IN DELIVERIES - Any of you that follow the Commerce boards or look into our own request board will notice that I have stopped taking delivery requests. We will finish the ones posted but that will be it for the time being. No need to worry...this is for good reason. Actually this is a good time for us as a company even though we have lost a few pilots. It is time to build. Time to venture forth into some of the plans and objectives that will shape our future as a team. These projects will however take much of our time and effort. Even though I will not set a time clock to our efforts at this time, you will see that it is still a lot of work. And as you know transportation is a full time gig...I don't feel that we could honestly handle deliveries AND our own agenda. That would be giving the clients sub par service and that is something that I will never allow. Besides, if we all work together then we will be back up in action in no time. Even though deliveries will be shut down for a short time everyone will still receive the regular monthly pay of 800,000 credits. This brings me to the supplemental pay which has been arranged for you all also (covered in the next section, Number 3).
3. SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY - Some of you remember faction sitting for the government factions GCC and BSY. Due to changes in their operations they are no longer in need of additional numbers. However I feel that it is a good option for our team to have that extra income. So through negotiations with Legate Dorn Zeke of the Aurodium Legion I have established new sitting positions for all Hounds that would like this extra income. THIS IS NOT MANDATORY. Nor will you have to participate in any of their operations or follow any of their rules or regulations. You will simply be a place holder for their member count requirements. Dorn and the AL have a couple of NAT organizations so depending on which you sit for you will earn an extra 3 to 5 million in your accounts monthly. Like I said, this is not mandatory. We don't run things like that around here. This is only an attempt to assist you in your dreams and goals. I know that it is only the beginning and I don' have the ability to pay the best salaries, but I vow to you all that I will always do all that I can to get you the recognition and paychecks that I feel you deserve. And with the growth that these new operations will provide I know that things will only get better and better. Anyone interested in faction sitting for extra income get in touch with me and we will get u set up immediately.
4. CONSTRUCTION - I have decided it is finally time to start building up our home base. As you probably already know we have four cities that are owned by NovaStar Transportation (well, by me but once we become an official company then I will turn them over and they will become the HQ and starting point for any new spawning Combine members that want to join our company, thus owned by NovaStar Transportation). I have already acquired and purchased much of the RM needed for this construction and developed the designs for the cities. This is for a home we can call our own and for residual income for the company. Just a little each month, but it does start to add up if the company runs efficiently. We will need to get the RM hauled to the building sites and we will need someone that is willing to be in charge of getting the construction completed. This is a very important task for our future because these plans also include construction of the barracks that will generate the NPCs for our Mercenary market. Which brings me to my next topic....
5. NPC MARKET - It is now time to start up our mercenary sales division. But before we can put up quality Mercs that can compete with the competition we will have to get them equipped and trained up to at least level 3. I have spent a lot of time and credits purchasing the weapons and armor needed to supply our NPCs and I think we have a pretty good stock pile now. What we need is someone that would be willing to cover this area. This sentient will have to have a pretty good Infantry Command skill to take lead in the training. They will also be responsible for the gathering of the equipment from various locations and getting it all to one location for easy access and easy outfitting. If all of this is handled well and efficiently, that sentient will probably be in charge of the sales team also. But firsts things first, we have to get our NPCs generated, training started, and equipment gathered. Locations and other pertinent info will be given to the one that takes on this responsibility.
6. SYSTEM SEARCHING - This may be the most important project we have. Because this may mean a home, a planet, a system, which could lead to RMs, ..I mean the possibilities are endless. But it could also mean nothing. I continue to see "Gadzooks!!" on the GNS flashnews on a regular basis and seeing new systems found. I can only imagine finding one of those gems for our own. However on the other side I have been a part of a system search my self...a 5 person search combing only one sector...and come up empty handed. So who knows the odds. Maybe we find something, maybe we don't. But I feel like the effort would be worth it. System searching is long, boring, tedious. You have to have precise on and off times. You have to be honest and filled with integrity because the pilot that is on this mission may find something but there is nothing that says he has to turn it over to NovaStar Transportation. Now with the time clock running before the information is released to public and with the immediate need for RMs and builders to secure a new system it would be ridiculous for a single sentient to try and keep a planet to themselves. Once the info is released you can bet that major corporations like the GE would be on the way there to "investigate" the situation. Not to mention other less savory organizations. This type of endeavor would take careful planning and having the foresight of loaded BFFs with RMs and builders sitting and ready to move at a moments notice should we be fortunate enough to find something. But as I'm sure you can imagine all of the work and planning would be worth it if we lucked out. If.....
And trust me, if you are the Hound selected for this mission and you actually find something, there is quite the reward in store for your efforts and for your honesty.

So as you can see my friends there is a lot about to happen. Now here is where I extend my faith to you. Here is where we need to know whether you are committed to this or not. WE can not have members on this that are not completely on the train with us. Anyone that doesn't feel as strongly about this next phase of operations as I do is welcome to move on and explore other opportunities. We will even assist you in your travels with light funding to send you on your way, possibly even a small ship, and our blessings. Not a spec of ill will or hard feelings. All of you have already earned that from me and the BOD. You've earned that and so much more. But if you feel the electricity like I do...if you want to see the effort and time and sweat you have invested blossom into something more....and if you want to commit to this build, then let me know which operation you would like to be a part of and I will brief you with all the necessary details and trust you in your commitment.
