State of Company Address III
Wed Oct 09, 2013 7:00 pm
The ever present metallic headgear of Damij Maximus materializes onto your communication panel.
Good day team. Thank you as always for attending this meeting. I know all of you have a lot going on. It has been sometime now since my last update on the company. We do have some things happening and you all should be made aware of the growth of our organization which stems directly from your hard work and effort. This address is primarily intended for NovaStar regular staff and board:
Thaleon Luxetz - Head Finance Officer, Partner
Dru Snotz - Chief of Systems and Operations, Partner
Myself - Hello
And all NovaStar regular pilots and employees:
Tsuchiwan Chuba
Buck Hawk
Keith Carlock
Xislaar Kandar
Lyxzen Mere
Angus Bucleberry
Nelik Runios
Anthony Morelli
Spark Royan
However I have decided this time to extend invites to a selected few that have had or will in the future have a significant affect on our success. While these guest carry no weight in our family made decisions, they are to be regarded with the utmost courtesy. All have provided us with blood, sweat, or sometimes most important, opportunity. I give much respect:
Our trusted freelancers: Vann Cleef, Todd Wraithson, Krogoth YrTang, Floyd Black
Director of Department of Trade, Trade Federation: Tanez Kalrade
And representatives from factions whom have trusted and counted on NovaStar for quality, repeat service:
Galactic Commerce Collective
Bilbringi Ship Yards
Aurodium Legion
Tion Hegemony
And Entrepreneur and Galactic Racer Maha Michi
I only invite these sentients in an attempt to promote confidence in our services. Hopefully seeing how seriously we take our business behind closed doors will reassure them that we will always handle their business with the same passion.
First I'd like to take a minute to welcome a few new Hyper Hounds. Angus "Uncle Buc" Bucleberry, Nelik "Runner" Runious, Anthony "Tony" Morelli and Spark Royan. Mr. Royan could prove to be a particularly beneficial part of our organization. He is an experienced sentient with our galaxy and has agreed to assist us with our newest project which is developing rather quickly. He has been hired in the capacity of Combat Medic. Combat in the sense of taking responsibility for spawning, training and staging of our NPC mercenaries that will make it to market in our current business venture. While transportation will always be our primary focus, the NPC market is a venture that, if pursued properly, could turn into a very profitable endeavor for our company and its members. He will also manage our medical inventory and take on the supervision of construction of our three cities on Morath Beta, which will assist us greatly with residual income. Yes this could be consider minor income by some but every little bit helps and any multiple streams of steady income is something that is what we are looking for at this juncture. Take a moment and welcome these four gentle-sentients into the fold. They are your team mates now and until further notice will be treated as such. I'm sure you will all receive the same consideration in return. Unity and communication are the bonds that hold us together and present us in our strongest light. We also would like to take a moment to welcome a new addition to our team of trusted freelancers, Floyd Black.
Next I want to do what I always do and extend my appreciation for all your hard work. In light of this we have approved raises of 100,000 credits per month for some of our longer tenured pilots. Congrats to Buck, Keith, Xislaar and Lyx. And to Tony, Nelik and Angus....I don't want the three of you to feel slighted or overlooked. The only, and i mean only, reason you do not qualify for this raise is due to time in service. Your efforts to this point have been recognized and documented. As you can see from past posts raises occur with this company on a regular basis. So far it looks like they happen every three months or so. So continue to help the company grow and you will grow also. That is my commitment to you.
I also want to take the time to give special recognition to Tsuchiwan "Chubs" Chuba. As one of my very first hires (3rd hired. The first 2 hired are no longer with me) he has remained as solid as Duracrete for this company. Any job, any time, all the time. I know all of you have performed likewise during your time with NovaStar but it is his length of time with us coupled with his consistency that compels my loyalty to him. So due to his dedication to his craft I would like to announce Tsuchiwan Chuba as our Director of Logistics. The specific duties and responsibilities of this position are still being worked out and will take some intense on the job training to formulate clearly. Basically once the position is implemented in full Chubs will be the one responsible for managing our client list and all updates as well as delegating missions out to Nova pilots. We have made tremendous progress towards reaching faction status and this type of organizing will be crucial for success so we might as well start getting into it now in preparation. good job Chubs.
Speaking of growth I would like to bring your attention to our outside faction networking. As much success as we have had with our personal clientele we also have closed another transportation contractor deal with the Trade Federation. This will require us to handle TF delivery and logistic needs on a case by case basis. This bold move will expose us to more potential clients by working with the Trade Federation and their members and clients. More advantages are:
- Increased mission count to ensure constant work and constant income both of which add up to company growth.
- Another faction which will use NovaStar as trusted and efficient transporters of their entities and the entities of their members. (Much appreciation to Galactic Commerce Collective, Bilbringi Ship Yards, Tion Hegemony and the Aurodium Legion).
- This builds credibility in our name and our service.
- More opportunities for our pilots to interact and network with a variety of sentients throughout the galaxy which will promote personal development on many levels.
- Another source of consistent XP opportunities.
So we're doing it. We are actually making it happen team. And we are doing it independently. The differences between now and when we started are worlds apart and we have gained a lot of ground in our journey.....but the journey is not complete. We still have further to go and I know I can't do it alone. None of us can. This is what we need to embrace during those long hyper jumps for sentients we possibly have never met before. These are the thoughts that should go through our minds once hyper fever starts to settle in. Everything we do helps ourselves, our company, our team mates, and our customers. Not everyone can do what you pilots do. I'm sure you know that by now. So don't ever forget it!
Congratulations Hounds. Make yourselves proud, make some money, and Go Get It!
The screen fades to static then turns black.
