((OOC: As always this will be broken into parts to give opportunity to refresh or RP in between the sections. At any break I will pause for some time, day or two, to give IC interaction an opportunity. Not mandatory...just trying to throw some fun in. Enjoy))
Your comm screen comes to life and the NovaStar company logo begins to materialize.
Next you see a grainy image of a sentient being standing alone amid some foreign rugged land. Soon you realize the masked figure is Damij Maximus.

Greetings Hounds. thank you for once again taking the time to catch the latest State of our Company Address. I would like to start by apologizing for taking so long since our last address. I'm coming to you from one of our new territories. Quite exciting, but I'll get to that later. I wanted to get some training in before we slabbed while it was still rough out here. Skills may fade with time but we should never just let them die....stay sharp.
Anyway these addresses were created to give you all a firm handle on what is going on with the Pack you call home. It is tangible evidence of our growth from the past and our desire for a brighter future. It also gives purpose to everything we do, from construction, to sales, to those long grueling hyper missions we sometimes take for preferred clients. Everything is done for a purpose and a communal goal. Anything that provides for the Pack is good in my opinion. And it has been a humble honor doing what I can to provide for all of you.
First order of business is something that is both business and personal to me. Safety. The Galaxy is a dangerous place. Couple this with the fact that some of our work literally requires that we work directly in the path of that danger makes our need to be careful a top priority. To further gather your attention to the seriousness of this matter I would like you all to take a moment to recognize and honor these Hounds. Now our way of life is "Once a Hound, Always a Hound". So these were your brothers and sisters. Show respect..... and take heed.
Tsuchiwan "Chubbs" Chuba - killed by Xikic Jix. Stayed aboard ship of Sevk Iller for a little too long. The kind and wonderful Mr. Iller wasn't even there yet felt the need to have Chubbs arrested and murdered.
Nero`ut Erus
NO PICTURE AVAILABLE
Due to ship malfunction Hound Erus ended up in a sun. All before he even had his chance to earn his call sign. Truly a promising individual during his short time.
Carl "Breeze" Winters - MIA. Last heard from somewhere in the southern region of our known Galaxy.
Buck "Hawkman" Hawk - while ailing from an illness, probably contracted forom some unknown planet, Hawkman continued his duties. Insisted on taking one more mission before down time. Communications became less frequent as the mission went on til eventually......nothing. I should have never let him go.
Chess "Klutch" Dakkart - another engine malfunction sent yet another promising Hound to her end within the heat of a nearby sun.
Tiwaz "Stryker"Chord - killed by Exanthium Kerensky. The specifics of where this order came from are cloudy at best. And there is an outside chance that Stryker's mouth didn't win him any friend trophies. But he was good. He worked hard. He was no real harm to anyone. And most important he was Hound.
Now a moment of silence for our fallen comrades..........................thank you.
Some safety rules that should be followed at all times:
1. Use your scanners and your eyes. In space, in orbit, before you get off your ship, after you get off your ship, when you get back onto your ship, ......you get the idea.
2. Read number 1 again.
3. Do not board another's ship, yes even mine, without checking to ensure it is part of the mission to do so. Most cases can be avoided, but some times they can't. So stay alert and stick to the job as it was planned.
4. Never give anyone access to the ship you are on without my direct approval. This goes for company vessels. You may of course do whatever you please with personal property.
5. During times you must leave the safety of your ship think speed. Do what you gotta do, take care of business, then get your ass on board your ship and moving away.
6. Electronic Lock Breakers. We should all have at least one on us at all times. I am in the process of gathering many to hand out thru the Pack. I do believe all new recruits get one in their starter Pack. One of the new Hounds please verify that for me?
7. And last but not least, trust your gut. If it doesn't feel right then move on. No one will judge, no one will question.
OK team I've got to break for a moment......
You notice Damij stands there hands on his hips, head dropped seemingly focused on nothing in general.
....I uuhh gotta get my heart rate back up. Yeah that's it. Training. Throw some water on your faces and be ready for the next part of this breifing where will move on to some brighter circumstances. But yeah, I gotta go for a minute.
The screen slowly fades as Damij walks away with his back to the camera.
