Hello and thank you for joining me. It has been far too long since my last address, and for that I'd like to apologize. As much as I preach communication to all of you I realize that I should set the example when it comes to keeping you all aware of the status of the family that you all support. And I also realize that this is a way for you all to see that there is purpose in every action you do. Believe this, NONE of you are here to do pointless jobs or mindless routine tasks. Every move we make takes us a little bit closer to the goals that we set.
First order of business...some time ago I decided to go into business for myself. Of course the lure of living a better life was there but for the most part I was going through some things that I didn't like as a sentient in this galaxy. I'm not a fan of separation. Of course there is nothing we can do when it happens naturally. Called Natural Selection I believe? But intentional exclusion of others merely from base arrogance....well I won't go into it here. Let's just say I thought I could create a vehicle to change even just a little bit of that. But I knew I would have to surround myself with beings that were smarter, faster and prettier than myself. And I figured that would take a while (especially the prettier part, lol). Those I surround myself with also had to be sentient beings that i could trust and admire. I would have to be able to be compatible with them because my goal was to start creating fully functional companies that the company workers will eventually run themselves. A way for the average Joe like myself to at least get on the playing field without having to jump through hoops or sell your soul or whatever. Well we have made on step closer to that final destination. After some time and after repeatedly saving my butt, a Hound has risen to show ability, determination, focus on the endgame, fire in the face of adversity, wisdom in the presence of conflict, compassion for her team mates and loyalty to her Pack. So it's an honor to publicly and officially announce Lead Hound Veronique "Delta V" Jinx as the Leader of NovaStar Trading.
Not only does this provide the Pack with a strong leader but it also enables me to filter back and forth between both our holdings (NovaStar and The Octagon League) much more efficiently. I hope you will all treat her with the same loyalty, love and respect that you have shown me. It made me a better leader just learning to be something you could be proud of as a member. I'm sure CEO Jinx will grow with you all in the same manner. So if you have a glass in front of you please raise it with me in toast:

Next I'd like to recognize Lead Hound Savanna "FlyBy" DeLong.
CEO DeLong has been overseeing our production company The Octagon League for some time now, all the way through it's infancy to the formidable operation it is today. And she has weathered the storm almost single handedly. There have been a couple of our staple group members that have been with me for some time help out when they could. And they just prefer to quietly hang in the background away from any attention. But inactivity in that company has caused many issues in the past for Octagon and all were handled without a bat of an eye or a second breath. If any of you want to really get involved in a company that is about to start really growing then Octagon is the place for you. We already have one Pup slotted for going to Octagon but another would be great. And remember, we need a dedicated candidate. If you feel you would like to give it a shot contact me or CEO DeLong through DM, but I digress....
In recognition of her endless commitment to success and loyalty to her craft and her Pack I present Savanna with the NovaStar Rocket:
Only one being at a time can hold this trophy, and Savanna is the second. The first was Veronique. I remember presenting it to her and her saying something along the lines of "Wow, an old rusty rocket....thanks". But over time I think she finally started to see my intention. We surround ourselves with all the shiny high tech trappings that we can find and afford to complete our daily missions. Savanna, in the middle of all the shiny glimmering lights and the technological wizardry, you're gonna see one rusty rocket sitting on your desk. This is the reminder of how it all started. Just one rusty light freighter. I firmly believe that when we remember where we came from, and how we got to where we are now, then the journey ahead of us gets a lot clearer. Congrats and I want you to hold on to this for me until you see someone worthy of this. Thanks.
And also I'd like to give a huge shout out to a team within our mix that has proven themselves truly worthy of our gratitude. These three Hounds came into our ranks about the same time. I guess you could say they were in the same recruiting class. Since their initial start we have gotten nothing but 110% from all three of them. For their hard work they are now no longer Pups, but should be recognized as full fledged Hyper Hounds. And with that comes the call sign. Many of you know that I have a fondness for nicknames for everyone. And no you do not get to choose. I come up with something after I've been around you for a while. It can come from something you've done, your work ethic, something physical with your appearance, or something just as simple as a play on your name. With your new status as Hounds it is time for you to receive your Call Signs. Now Veronique and I were reminded of a holofilm that used to be popular about 3 actors that went to a small border town on Tattooine under the impression they were to give a "Space Cowboy" style performance, not aware of the crime syndicate that was embedded within that town. Confusion erupts, comedy ensues and of course our 3 heroes save the day. They referred to themselves as the Three Amigos. Well these three members came in right at a time when our member count was in pretty bad shape. So I guess its safe to say they did save the day for NovaStar. It's been an honor watching you get accustomed to our group and the galaxy at large. So without further ado, please give a little love to our Three Amigos:

Next....the company and our potential is doing fine. But potential energy is always most powerful after its released and I am anxious to start releasing more of our potential energy into the galaxy. Here are some of the things we have worked out and coming up in the near future:
- We have acquired access to shipyards from an ally to remain private. This enables us to begin production of Capital style ships like the Hammerhead and the Corona. These may not be the heaviest hitters in the galaxy, but in the right hands in the proper circumstances used the way they are supposed to be used....well it gives us more chance to have more strength than we have ever had before. I'm excited about adding these to our fleets and adding these jobs to our inventory which will mean more opportunities within our ranks.
- We have the RM builders and the candidate to start the ball rolling in our Construction Department. This will be crucial due to the extra Facility Income which comes from running cities at their best efficient level. This will only be a small step forward but one that has to be taken. And for your notes, the seemingly endless transports you make and the countless hours in Hyper travel is what provided us with the credits to purchase the RM necessary to build these cities. Until we get a foothold somewhere or acquire a planet of our own then our services to the public are the only form of income we can rely on. Talk about being the life's blood of an organization. I hope this puts a little more meaning into my favorite phrase...You Are NovaStar. But the income we get from the next 5 to 6 cities we construct will be a welcome addition to our economic infrastructure as a whole.
- Some of you may have noticed already but our old Head Quarters on the planet Aphran IV has been recycled. This takes away a lot of the viewing capabilities in our company but this actually opens up a new door for us. Some time ago our friends in the Gree Trade Authority offered us a place on a shield protected planet to place our new HQ and provide a safe, peaceful place for our new recruits to enter into our Pack. I am eternally grateful for their kindness in our time of need and actually I myself am about 1 day away from the planet to start construction on our new HQ.
- I have recharged our NPC operation and am now in a position to begin Mercenary Squads on the CPM Marketplace. This is a dual service that allows sentient beings ((combat NPCs)) the ability to train and access the type of career they are looking for through legal outlets. We have the people that can train, the connections to get them where they want to go and the equipment to increase their value to their new employers. The second service this endeavor provides is another formidable stream of income for our future. Profit for us and Octagon, a new career for the soldier, and one bad ass Mercenary for the buyer....everyone walks away happy in this arrangement.
- We have officially begun our system searching again. No one is going to give us anything in this rough galaxy. Sometimes we just gotta get up and go get it ourselves. Of course there is an immense amount of luck involved here but our chances are much better than sitting on our butts doing nothing. So we have a couple BFFs loaded with RM and Builders ready to jump on anything that we may be fortunate enough to find. keep your fingers crossed and if this one breaks open its going to be a whole new ball game for the Hyper Hounds.
Other than that everything is running as smooth as we can expect. This is a company that many though wouldn't last more than a couple months. Everyday we prove that wrong and it is because of the team effort that you all provide. I'm really, really honored to be on this team and I hope we can stick it out together just long enough to see the other side of the mountain. I know we will be greater tomorrow than we were yesterday. Keep it up boys and girls. Now I'm going to go and feed Sugar BEFORE we drop out of hyper. She doesn't eat for a whole day after a hyper jump, poor thing. Keep your heads up, and take care of each other. Peace.
