As you can see from the date this happened some time ago. But I feel that the impact of this post is important to those new to our pack. It is a reminder that though our goal is success and lives full of fun and exploration and enjoyment, we can never forget that our field of expertise is a dangerous one - full of strange world, strange sentients, unfamiliar vessels and uncertain destinations. It is crucial that we stay focused and on point at all times. Make sure your coordinates are correct and true. Use your scanners when exiting your vessels, ESPECIALLY when on the surface of planets. Take heed to access privs. Never allow those you are not comfortable with on your ships and like wise only enter the ships of proven allies. For the new Hounds that even means avoiding entering a ship that I am on until you truly get to know me. You will of course find that I am most honorable but you don't know til you know. Understood? Excellent.

After an unexplained interruption in communications throughout the galaxy and after some investigation, we regret to inform you all that our newest Hyper Hound Nero`ut Erus has in fact fallen in the line of duty. Nero was on his first assignment with NovaStar as its newest member. He showed intense focus and motivation towards becoming an integral part of our organization. Due to technical difficulties, however, the C-3 Capital ship Nero was piloting inexplicably flew into a sun, thus destroying the ship and ending the existence of Nero`ut Erus. It can not be determined if the malfunction was a result of the recent cosmic anomaly that brought down communications and navigational computers throughout the galaxy. While we didn't get the opportunity to get to know Nero, he was a part of our team....just as anyone is a part of our team from day one in our ranks. Rest in peace comrade and may the force be with you, always.
Now, we move on. Some may understand this statement, some may find it cold. Either way, it is necessity. The force of life is more valuable than any other force in our universe. We as transporters work in danger at all times. Ship malfunctions, cosmic storms, risk of kidnappings and murders by leaving our ships or entering others, picking up strangers, or just simply stopping in for a drink in the wrong sector on the wrong planet in the wrong bar at the wrong time. We must always be aware of our actions and our surroundings. Stay skilled in your craft of piloting and stay sharp, practice. Use your sensors. Ask questions. And most of all trust your gut. We are the living and we have a job to do and lives to maintain. Remember those that fall but use those experiences as tools to continue your own future. That is the way to honor the deceased....if not, then they pass on for nothing.
Keep Your Heads Up!
Fly Safe!
Rock On!
Go Get It!
