State of the Company Address VI

You notice the "Transmission Received" lights flashing on your communication panel. Upon activation the ever present metallic headgear of Damij Maximus appears your communication panel.
Good day my Hounds. I am very honored that you have taken the time to join me again. And I am humbled by the commitment you have made to our cause even though all of you are more than qualified to work anywhere and for anyone in the galaxy you choose. Even if our paths separate for whatever reasons you all need to remember that and take that with you. I have worked with every one of you and survived in this galaxy enough to know that your individual skills match or exceed any other sentient that I have ever associated with. And your thirst for more will only make you more formidable as time goes by. But honestly I tire of talking about the possibility of anyone leaving and will move on to the positivity of our current state of affairs.
First let's get into the roster. We have some that are activity monsters as usual and some that have gone MIA. either way all are members of our family until we receive word that they no longer want to be associated with us. And even then their names will be remembered for the contributions the have provided. Those of you that have been with me for a while know that I try to keep everything in the open with you all so that we stay on the same page. If i ever keep anything confidential it is only out of concern for your safety or because I don't have all of the information to communicate with you effectively. So here is our current roster and status of NovaStar Transportation:
Buck "Hawkman" Hawk - (currently MIA - our thoughts and well wishes go out to our Lead Hound for his safe and speedy return.)
Xislaar "X-Man" Kandar - (Active - currently conducting the EXTREMELY difficult, long, arduous, time consuming, lonely, mind boggling, solo task of system searching in an attempt to find a system/planet that we can call our own. If anyone gets the urge to drop X a line as a show of gratitude is welcome. This mission could be the next turning point for our team and I for one am eternally grateful for his efforts.)
Lyxzen "Lil One" Mere - (Active - our favorite Twi'lek. Currently holding down the fort at our newly acquired company The Octagon League, which will be explained later in this transmission.)
Serah Hawk - (Active - this ladies and gentle men was the very first pilot I ever hired. Whatever becomes of NovaStar is a product of this sentient helping me get this thing off the ground a year ago. After some time away Mr. Hawk has decided to rejoin our efforts, and at a REALLY good time I might add. And besides...he's a Kel Dor sooooo how fantastic is that

Mitrais Nemesi - (Active - very active. as the company grows so will this young sentient)
Philip Reed - (ditto above - these two newer Hyper Hounds will be responsible for big things around here as time goes by. I can already feel it.)
Carl Winters - (our newest recruit that seems to be eager to make a name for himself in our ranks. Time will tell I suppose but I got a good feeling about this guy. We shall see. Oh and it would be a good idea, if you haven't already, to drop a line to him to welcome him to the team. We must never forget the family aspect and the closeness of our union together. Strength is not in numbers, it is in UNITY and focus on a COMMON goal.)

Next order of business. I have received messages from some of you wondering what is going on and why the lack of communication lately....and I like that. You all have the right and actually duty to contact me at any time when you need to know -
"hey boss, what the fuck is going on?"
My door is always open. So now is the time to open up a little and let you know what the distraction is. Well it's two things actually:
1. NovaStar Transportation is now finally about to go faction. All we need now is the required member count for faction status which is at least five members. We have the necessary capital, the necessary backing, the equipment, the goals, everything. Now some of you may ask "What is he talking about, we have more than five Hounds on the team?" Well I'm glad you asked that question because that leads us to our next issue...
2. We have just picked up another faction, The Octagon League. You all are aware of this already because you were instructed to join that faction. But that was for the member requirement. So if you add both together that means we need AT LEAST 10 members that log on at least once a week to run both factions. Even though there are billions of sentient beings in our galaxy this is not an easy task. As you can see from our running roster board in our forums:

As a matter of fact I have a possible new member on the line as we speak. His handle is Zoso Gadarmuk. I t would do us all some good if you could drop a line a let him know that this is a welcome place to be or whatever you want actually. But anything would be cool...try and remember back when the Combine was new to us all and how big and overwhelming it looked.....now it's just a walk in the park, partially because of the alliances and associates we have made along the way.
Out of the more than 20 members that have come through our doors we only have 10 members and only 6 of those currently active. It is the way of our galaxy but it is not something that will stop us nor will it define us. Every company goes through this same string of inactives but just as they have survived through that so shall we. I am ramping up extensive recruiting operations and I will need everyone to welcome, assist and train all new members. This is going to be something that will excel us forward to a higher plane in the theater of Commerce and Service to the galaxy at large. This is the vision that we are striving towards:

NovaStar Transportation as our main organization still specializing in transportation and smuggling needs throughout the galaxy. It is our head organization and is the backbone that has gotten us where we are today. So it only makes sense to me to continue to specialize in what we are good at. We will also be using our cities located on Morath Beta to generate and train our elite force of NPC mercenaries that we will sell to the open market. That is where The Octagon League comes into play.
We will also be equipping our soldiers with armor and weapons so that they will have more value on the market. So TOL will be crafted as a weapons and armor manufacturer. once we get a solid team in place there that knows production inside and out then we will expand our services to the public which will bring in more profit for all of our dreams to be realized. My dreams are kinda small...just a little piece of land that I can call my own and a couple of dancers to keep me company. And maybe a really nice ship to putz around in. Yours may be larger. This will also work two fold because as we gain more respected customers through one company they will also have access to the services of the other company and so on, and so on.
My vision sees one or two more companies in our scope. A shipbuilding corporation and eventually a mining company should X be fortunate enough to find us a planet....I mean WHEN X finds us a planet, lol. But I'm getting ahead of myself. It's one step at a time. If I've learned nothing else it is patience.
So you see I have been very busy trying to close all of these deals which is why my communication has been a little spotty lately. Some of you even felt I may have forgotten you but this is never the case. I needed to make sure everything was a definite before I let the cat out of the bag. I wanted to make sure my information was clear and concise before I came to you all. You deserve that. So now that I have this first and second leg of our journey in place we will continue on with our regular operations and start the building process all over again, lol. But it is all worth it at the end of the day. This also means that we will be needing more and more leadership positions as we grow. Now I'm never gonna gt to much into flashy titles and such but everyone knows that there is need for those to handle different aspects of a flourishing company. These will be considered as nothing more than Department Heads. We have been, and always will be, defined by our actions and not our titles.
So as kind of a participation initiator I have decided to put a contest out there. everyone can have as many entries as they like. What I want is some kind of a name for a company that has many facets of operations and multiple factions that carry out those operations. Something that would be all inclusive and have some reference to who we are and what we promote.

- our family are our friends, our friends are family...everyone else is just somebody i may or may not know
